2.0 Pilates Mat I, II, III Teacher Training

The primary goal of the Mat I, II, III courses is to introduce you to the beginning, intermediate and advanced exercises in the Pilates mat repertoire. Do not let the word “beginning” be confused with the word “beginner” because the concepts and physical abilities needed to achieve all of the exercises requires dedication and consistent practice.

  • Introduction to level I, II, III Classical Pilates mat exercises
  • Basic Pilates history, lineage
  • Introduction to Joseph Pilates’ books: “Return To Life Through Contrology” and “Your Health”
  • Pilates principles and concepts
  • Class creation and cuing 
  • Progressions, variations and modifications of each exercise

  • Those looking to learn about the profession of Pilates

The Pre-Pilates course is the prerequisite to this one because it contains the foundational movements and assessment requirements for instructors to teach effectively exercises. 

Get ready to walk through each move and examine the components necessary perform them. You will dive deeper into the order, how to transition between the classical flow of exercises and get creative with the order of exercises to let your personality shine during the Intensive Days.
