Hey there, I'm Lencola Green,

I am the founder of California Pilates, LLC and a comprehensively trained Pilates instructor who has been in the fitness industry for over 15 years. Fitness has always been present in my life whether in the form of dance, gymnastics or running. I guess you can say my parent’s hardwired me for fitness.

I took my strength, balance and endurance capabilities for granted. Despite staying active during my pregnancy I felt so de-conditioned after. It took me nearly 4 years of trial, effort and research to feel strong and functional again. I spent tons of money seeking out expert advice, manual therapists, and women’s health therapists to figure out why I was having hip pain. I discovered author and world renowned Physiotherapist Diane Lee. Her books, courses and mentorship gave me the road map to recovery. I rid myself of hip pain, urinary urgency, stress urinary incontinence, postpartum depression, hormonal imbalances and pain during sex. I stopped focusing on my dress size, identified my depression triggers and turned my attention to healing, finding balance in my life and happiness. Changing my mind-set and unprocessing my diet made everything fall into place.
